Thirty Years of Farming
By James King
Quackdidlioso, quack, quack, quack...

Well, I think it's about time for an update.  So where was I? What was I doing in this gap from December until now?  I guess I just pretty much forgot that the word xanga existed.  And now all that anyone talks about is MySpace, anyway (I don't even have one of those).  But one really cool thing I did is go on a mission trip to Mendenhall Miss. with my school.  I gotta be a farmer for 3 whole days! How cool is that?  I planted a bunch of vegetables that a bunch of moms will end up making their kids eat, pull a bunch of plastic out of the ground. (I still don't really know what the deal with that was) and a bunch of other stuff, too!  It was really fun.  But.....*drumroll*......something bad happened. *all gasp in horror* I....... *leaning forward in seats*... got...... *nearly screaming in anticipation*.......SUNBURNED!    I looked like that little man, except that I had a nose that was leeking some sort of clear liquid out the skin, and ears that had blisters which exploded and left gross oozing cuts.  But like that smily man, I was still happy.

Who loves abrupt endings? I do!

Hey, look at this guys, it has even been a month and I'm updating again!  That's pretty awesome for me.  So, I have a story for you.  And it's not like my english paper or anything like that, this is a covo that my brother had with one of his friends:

Eric's Friend:  So your little bro was at Melissa McDonald's birthday party, right?

Eric: Yeah

E F:  Yeah, I was there too.  Was he dancing?

Eric:  Yeah, that's what I hear.

E F:  No, you can't call that dancing.

So that's my little story of Eric and his friend having a conversation about me.  Don't you hate it when people you don't know say that you're a bad dancer to other people.  I guess I'll just give up my hopes and dreams of becoming the future pop star of America....  Oh well.

Wow guys, it's been so long that it took me like 10 minutes to figure out how to do a new update.  Well,  I'm back!  And no, I'm not dead, and yes, I am alive.  Well, I've started school, and it's going pretty good.  It just goes by so fast though.  It seems like it's only been a couple weeks since school started and it's already almost Christmas!

I've wanted too update a lot of times during the past...2...or 3... months, but I'm really busy.  I have swimming on monday and friday mornings (I have to wake up at 5 in the morning for those!), and after school on Tues. and Thurs.  On Wed. I sometimes have worship team practice, and then huddles after that.  And I just got a part in the musical! Yay!  I was pretty sure that I would get a part, because there were barely enough guys to try out for all the boy parts.  But I actually got a pretty big part this year, which is a big deal to me.  I've always been stuck with those characters that have a line a scene and stand there the rest of the play...but now I have an actual part!  I'm no longer an expendable character!

So school's going good.  My son is going to be born soon.  Thursday night, actually.  The hospital room is a little too dirty for me, though.  But it's my first, so I'm probably just overreacting...I wrote that to make my sister say, "What?!"  That's always fun.  So, I thought that I would out my myth story that I wrote on here.  It's about 2 pages, so you don't have to read it all if you don't want to.  I had to write this for school.

Bye Guys,  Hopefully not forever...Dave

HIYA!

Good to talk, or write, to everyone!  Well, the whole guitarist/pink-haired-girlfriends/Oprah thing didn't work out, so I'm pretty much back to normal, if that's possible (I'm really not a very normal person.  Just ask my family, they have to live with me all the time. It's a weird thing, families, if you think about it.  God makes up a few people, decides they would go good together and makes a family.  You automatically love them, even if they're the kind of person you would normally hate.  It really teaches you how to get along with people.

I realize that this is a really long ( ), but ever since my brother's gotten back he's put me into a philosophocal mood.  Whenever we ride to and from school we always talk about moral issues and the end times and all sorts of other stuff.  Just ask Jo Gilbert, his mom leaves him at the school sometimes so we give him a ride home.  Alright, I think I'll ened this long, uninteresting ( ) ).

It's sad, the whole Katrina thing.  My family's been talking alot about it.  Here's something I thought you guy's might enjoy that I got in an e-mail:

Okay never mind, It didn't copy and my brother wants to get on the computer.  Well, I hope I'll post again before next month lol!

Missing You Dearly

.  That's my face when I saw how long it's been since I've updated.  Wow, yeah, It's been a while.  I can't really say that I've been all that super busy and I haven't had time to update, or that I was grounded for killing my sister, or being abducted by aliens or anything, I just...haven't really felt like it I guess.  I have thought about it though, whenever I think about something I always think about how I would write on my xanga, but if I wrote everything I thought about on my xanga, you would be sitting in your chair reading it for a month.  Sorry about the xanga logo, I just wanted to see what the "pic" button did.

I can't believe summer's almost over!  My school starts friday, I'm excited about going to Ovilla.  I just bet that I'll be really tired.

Okay guys, right now I think I'm developing ADHD or something, cause I CAN NOT seem to pay attention to what I'm writing!  I keep on losing my place and just stareing off into space, but I know that I need to just buckle down and tell you what's been going on in my life.  I'll just tell you the highlights, cause it's been like, more than a month since I last updated and...well, let's just say a lot of things have happened.  First of all, I dyed my hair pink cause my girlfriend (we've been going out for about three weeks, but it's pretty serious. The wedding should be soon .) was doing it.  Btw, I should probably mentiong that I decided to quit school and fulfill my lifelong dream of leading a rock band and becoming a famous guitarist/juggler/automechanic.  That may be a lot for you to digest right away, I know.  But there's a reason for it all.  I  want to be on Oprah.  I know that probably sounds crazy too, but what better way to get on Oprah than to become a famous 14 yearold guitarist/juggler/automechanic?  If you can think of something, tell me!

All right, now that I've got that off my chest let's talk about other things.  My birthday party was really fun.  I got lots of money . About 28 people came, but I invited lots more.  When it was like the day of the party there were a bunch of people that I wanted to invite but I didn't cause I cause I was just too lazy to pick up the phone, so sorry if you didn't get invited.  It was really fun, even though pretty much all we did was swim and eat.  At the end of the party when most of the people had left, the few of us who were still at my house all stood around the piano and played and sang phantom of the opera. That was cool, cause at home the only people I have to sing i t with is me and my sister.
So that's what's pretty much going on my life minus all the details. Leave me comments please! Pretty please!
